I am an independent scholar, editor, and seasonal translator. My current research focuses on environmental politics and food sovereignty in SWANA. I am formally trained as a political scientist (PhD, Yale University) but wish I wasn´t. In another life, I would be a geographer. In my other life, I write about knowledge production, (South) Lebanon, Palestine, and abolitionist pasts, presents, and futures. I am happiest translating Arabic literature into English, with a black cat on my lap.
(And I spend many hours running a cat association in the mountains of Madrid.)
